I spoke with Murray recently and asked about the schools that are recruiting him.
Murray said a few schools have extended scholarship offers.
"UCLA, USC, UNLV and Eastern Washington have offered," said Murray.
Murray recently took an unofficial visit to UCLA and talked a little about his trip.
"It went pretty good," said Murray. "They offered me a scholarship during the visit. I loved the campus, I have a good relationship with the coaches and I like the school. I will definitely have them in my recruiting process."
Murray doesn't have any other unofficial visits scheduled in the near future. I asked him if there are any schools that he knows he wants to visit officially.
"No, not really," said Murray. "I'm pretty open."
I asked Murray if he has a sense for which schools are recruiting him the hardest.
"UCLA and Washington State," said Murray.
Murray said he has some criteria in mind for picking a school.
"The academics, how the system fits me, how I get along with the coaches and playing time," said Murray.
Murray doesn't have a time frame in mind for making his choice.
"Whenever I feel comfortable, then I will decide," said Murray.
I asked him if location is an issue.
"No, the location doesn't matter, I will go anywhere," said Murray.
Murray said he will be at USC's camp on Friday and then UCLA's camp on Saturday and Sunday.
