NBA Camp: Reese plans to visit three

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The top available point guard in the 2012 class talked to about the latest in his recruitment at NBA Camp.

With's top three point guards off the board, J-Mychal Reese, who checks in at No. 4, is sure to get a lot of love from college programs.

A 6-foot-1, 165-pound lead guard, Reese is quick, elusive in the open court and a guy that has a good mixture of scoring and creating.

"I'm a quick point guard that gets everybody involved, but I can take the shot if I need to," the Bryan (Tex.) High standout told following a game at NBA Camp on Friday.

"I've just been working hard back at home," Reese added. "I just wanted to prove and let everyone know that I'm getting better."

On the recruiting front, Reese is getting interest from a number of schools within the state, but also a handful of others.

"Everything is going good," he said. "I'm looking at Louisville, Baylor, Oregon, Providence, Georgia Tech, Texas and A&M."

The next step appears to be to take some college visits. Reese doesn't have dates set, but he's starting to figure out whom he wants to check out.

"I still want to take some visits," Reese said. "I'm supposed to take some visits this summer. After I do I'll probably try to narrow it down."

"I know for sure I'm visiting Louisville and Kansas and Oregon too."

When will Reese make his college choice?

"I'm just playing it by ear for whenever I think it's right."
