Thomas to attend prep school

Aaron Thomas is now headed to prep school and will enroll as a part of the 2012 class.

One of the keys to Florida State's 2011 class will delay his enrollment by a year. Aaron Thomas, formerly of Cincinnati (OH) Withrow High School, will do a post graduate year at Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy.

"Aaron is going to prep school at Brewster," said Queen City Prophets AAU coach Ozie Davis. "Brewster will help him on and off the court with his game and getting everything squared away with his academics."

Thomas, who is the No. 63 ranked player in the country and the No. 17 shooting guard, was considered one of the best scorers in the 2011 class.

While Thomas is headed to prep school, Davis says that it won't impact his decision to attend Florida State.

"He is still committed to Florida State," said Davis. "He still plans to go there, and this doesn't change anything in regard to his commitment."

Look for Thomas to work on his defense and ball handling now that he is a part of the 2012 class.
