Adams checks out USC

2012 forward Taj Adams recently took an unofficial visit to USC. He fills us in on how the trip went.

One of the more intriguing prospects on the West Coast is 6-foot-6, 180-pound Los Angeles Fairfax forward Taj Adams.

USC was on Adams early and recently hosted him on an unofficial visit.

"USC basically had everything on campus," Adams said. "It was hands on. If you need help over there, they're there. The coaches are really nice and friendly; they're not so uptight. It was good."

While on campus, Adams met with the USC staff.

"They just said to keep working and be ready," said Adams. "They said whatever school I go to they just want me to do well."

USC hasn't yet offered a scholarship, but the Trojans have made an impact on Adams.

"I like it a lot," he said. "It's local, close to my grandmother, it's a good school, the academics are good and I like the system. They said they're very interested."

Adams remains in no rush to move forward with his recruitment.

"I'm going to take my time and see how everything goes and then I'll make my decision," he said.

Previously, Adams said that USC and Nevada were the two schools recruiting him, but UTEP has recently added itself to that list.
