One of the guys at the Nike Camp who is getting quite a bit of new recruiting attention is Hassan Adams, 6-4 SR SG, Los Angeles (Calif.) Westchester.

It's not every day that a skilled, athletic guard from Los Angeles blows up in the spring – one who also has good academics. So, college coaches have heard about him and have liked what they've seen so far here at the Nike Camp.

Adams said that, right now, he's considering Cal, Seton Hall, Boston College, Tennessee, Oregon and UCLA. "But I don't have a leader. I just have an early list."

When asked about what factors are important in picking a college, Adams said, "Academics first. They're the most important. Then, there are a lot of things. I want to be comfortable where I am. I would like to come in and play. But playing immediately doesn't matter that much."

Adams, who carries a 3.0 GPA but hasn't yet taken the SAT, said he intends to take as many trips as possible before making a decision. "I don't know when I'll commit. I could commit in fall, but I'm not sure. I want to check out the schools and then make a decision."
