Johnson knows of three officials

2012 Phoenix wing Demarquise Johnson knows of three schools he'll take official visits to. He lists those schools to

One of the top 2012 wings out west is 6-foot-5, 185-pound Phoenix Westwind Academy's Demarquise Johnson.

Already holding offers from Gonzaga, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon State and Washington, three schools have the best done job recruiting him to date.

"Oregon State, Missouri and Washington," Johnson said of the schools doing the best job with him.

Johnson discussed what stands out to him about each of those schools.

Washington: "I like their coaches a lot. (Lorenzo) Romar is a good coach and I like their style of play."

Oregon State: "The Oregon State coaches are at every game; they don't miss a game. The coaches are cool; I like them a lot."

Missouri: "The coaches are good, the depth chart is good, I like the style of play and I like coach (Frank) Haith."

Beyond those three schools, Johnson says others have been recruiting him.

"I've been hearing from West Virginia and Colorado has been showing up to a lot of my games," Johnson said. "Washington State has been at a couple games, so have Texas and Arizona State."

While Johnson is open to visiting others, right now he plans on taking official visits to Washington, Oregon State and Missouri.

Until then, he doesn't plan on making any decisions.

"I'm going to go on my officials and see what I like," he said.
