"It has been fun," said Greene of the summer. "I started with the Atlanta Celtics and switched to the Charlotte Royals. I am playing against the 17 and under teams here, and I have the ability to bring the ball up here and play some point guard and shooting guard."
During his games coaches were present from numerous different teams. After being tracked, Greene says a few schools seem to be showing him the most attention.
"I have been hearing from Florida, Memphis, Louisville, Ohio State, and Duke the most," Greene explained. "Those are the schools that have been recruiting me the hardest, not that those are my top schools, but they have been contacting me the most."
Coming up Greene hopes to be able to make some visits, and knows two that he will take for sure during the coming months.
"August 3 I will be visiting Louisville," said Greene. "I will be visiting Memphis, Florida, and Ohio State as well at some point, but I don't know when exactly. Then on September 25 I will be at Harvard. I am open to any visit, but those are the ones I know about.
When on Louisville's campus, Greene will be looking to get a better feel for the school and the facilities.
"I just want to see what it is like around the campus," said Greene. "I know they have a great coaching staff. I like the staff a lot, I know they do a good job with their players, and they are in the Big East which is a great conference. I just want to see what the campus is like and the facilities and things like that."
A surprise to some, the visit to Harvard is also one that Greene is looking forward to.
"Harvard, I really like them," said Greene. "If basketball doesn't work out and I go there I know I have something to fall back on. I just want to go there check it out and see Boston."
For now Greene has no timetable on his decision, and hopes to see all of the schools on his list before narrowing things down.
