Thomas plans visit spree

With the July evaluation periods over, Devin Thomas is set to take five unofficial visits this week.

It's visit week for Harrisburg (Pa.) Central Dauphin standout Devin Thomas.

According to his assistant high school coach -- Tigh Savercool -- Thomas will visit Wake Forest, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Virginia and James Madison this week.

"[He's] going to do a little road trip down there," Savercool said. "He's on vacation after that and then school starts so he's knocking them all out."

Prior to July, Thomas, a 6-foot-8, 2225-pound power forward had picked up interest from Clemson, Drake, Drexel, George Mason, Penn State, VCU, Virginia, Virginia Tech, James Madison and Wake Forest.

Following the evaluation periods, Thomas picked up new scholarship offers from Marquette, Seton Hall, Temple and UMass.
