Bulldogs add guard

Mississippi State added another piece to their already impressive 2012 class with Josh Gray.

This summer Josh Gray ran on the AAU circuit with the Franchize All-Stars out of Houston and showed that he is a very good scorer and someone who can also be a pass first point guard.

With that ability Gray attracted offers from schools such as Mississippi State, Oregon, Baylor, Georgetown, and Seton Hall. However at the end of the day Gray decided staying in the south and heading to Starkville was right for him.

"I am from the south and want to stay in the south," explained Gray. "(Mississippi State) also have signed some good players committed, so I know I will be playing with some good players. The whole coaching staff followed me every game, and I liked everything about the school."

Once on campus Gray feels that he will make an early impression as someone who runs the show.

"I think I am going to come in and make an impact," said Gray. "I am just a floor general who will help make everybody else better."

Gray now joins Fred Thomas, Craig Sword, and Gavin Ware in what is shaping up to be an excellent class for Mississippi State.
