Visits next step for Parker

Tony Parker has his list at six schools and is in the process of setting up official visits.

It appears Tony Parker is getting close to a decision.

At this stage he's looking at six schools -- Duke, Ohio State, Memphis, Georgetown , UCLA and Kansas. The next step is setting up official visits.

Parker currently has one trip set up. He will visit Ohio State on September 9th. After that he's unsure on which direction he will go.

"I'm not sure about Duke yet," Parker said. "I think I'm going to wait until they have a game or something."

Parker, a five-star prospect, is planning to attend someones midnight madness, but he's trying to decide between a pair of schools.

"With Georgetown me and my parents are still deciding," Parker said. "It's Memphis or Georgetown for midnight madness."

The Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove standout also mentioned that Kansas was still involved with his recruitment.

"I might end up going to Kansas for a visit," Parker said. "Kansas is still in there."

UCLA is also a school recruiting Parker and he has plans of making it to Los Angeles for an official visit.

"I really will be taking an official there," he said.

With his final high school season approaching, Parker is hoping to come to a decision in the near future.

"I want to knock it out real soon," he said. "I don't want it to go into the season. I don't want to have any distractions."

Parker is ranked No. 20 overall in the 2012 class.
