Loveridge goes with Utes

Utah has landed in-state power forward Jordan Loveridge. The 2012 prospect talked to about his commitment.

Jordan Loveridge has ended his recruitment, choosing Utah over finalists BYU and Weber State.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound West Jordan (Utah) 2012 power forward told that he felt Utah was the best situation for him.

"I just felt like it was the best all-around fit," Loveridge said. "The basketball program, all the coaches and the atmosphere of the school all felt like a good fit for me."

The Utah coaching staff played a big role in Loveridge's commitment.

"I had a good relationship with all of them; every single coach," he said. "Of course Utah is in the Pac-12 too, so that's a big plus."

Loveridge is looking forward to helping restore Utah's program in a new conference with a new coach.

"I see it rebuilding back to where it was," he said. "I think it will be a really good program."
