The five-star center told Scout.com he had a good time in Columbus.
"It was fun, the coaching staff was nice and gave me a lot of good information about the school. Seeing the campus and players was fun," Coleman said. "It's a pretty big campus. I didn't get to see a lot of the people there because it's summer but hopefully I'll take an official visit there."
So far, Coleman only has one official visit set up, which will be to Kentucky.
"I'll go to Kentucky for an official visit on Oct. 15 for Midnight Madness," he said. "I like their coaching staff; I've built a good relationship with their coaches. Hopefully I'll be able to go down there and hang with the players."
The other school still in the mix for Coleman is Syracuse.
"It's my hometown, I like their facilities, I've built a good relationship with the coaching staff and the fans are great," Coleman said.
Coleman's plans are to officially visit all three schools, and he says that Ohio State, Kentucky and Syracuse are all even right now.
"I don't have a leader so right now I need to take my visits, see all three schools and just take my time with it," he said.
