Britt enjoys unofficial

Class of 2013 five-star point guard Nate Britt recalls his most recent visit

Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga standout Nate Britt has top programs around the country recruiting him. Schools like Arizona, Duke, Georgetown, Maryland, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Virginia are all after the talented point guard.

Following his participation in the Boost Mobile Elite 24 in Los Angeles, Britt headed to Tucson to pay one of the many schools chasing him a visit.

"I enjoyed it a lot," Britt said of his trip to the University of Arizona. "I got a tour of the campus; I got to meet the rest of the coaching staff and some of the incoming freshman, so I enjoyed it.

"The highlight I would have to say is probably seeing the gym and the arena because I've never been in there before. It was nice to see how big it was."

Overall, Britt was impressed with the visit, along with the announcement of Brandon Ashley's commitment the following day.

"I think they have a great class," Britt shares. "Like Coach Miller said, he's trying to recruit the players that he needs to make a run for the Final Four and the National Championship, and I think they're doing a great job of that."

Britt is early in the recruitment process and claims that everything is still up in the air. He will wait until basketball season to start narrowing things down.

In the meantime, he's planning to take things slow and keeping looking for the school which fits him best.

"I feel like whatever school is the best situation for me, that's where I'll be at, whether it's on the West Coast or the East Coast," he says."

What's going to be the most important factor?

"Getting to know the coach," Britt reveals. "I have to feel comfortable with the coach and we have to have a really strong relationship. I think that's probably the most important thing."

Dates aren't set yet, but Britt reports that his next trips will most likely be to North Carolina and Pittsburgh.
