This is the second big visit weekend for basketball teams across the country. What makes it interesting is this is also the first weekend of the evaluation period, so college coaches are balancing making in-school visits, in-home visits, and also hosting prospects for official and unofficial visits.

In terms of schools having huge weekends, Georgia, North Carolina, and Colorado all are having key visitors.

The Bulldogs have a huge group of visitors headed to Athens led by some of the top young players in the loaded state of Georgia. Jakeenan Gant and Tadric Jackson are potential superstars, while Brandon Watkins, Desmond Ringer, A.J. Davis, and Harold Givens are all impressive class of 2013 prospects who will be on campus. Add in their committed 2012 players, and this is a huge weekend for the future of the program.

While North Carolina and Colorado have smaller groups, both are impressive. Colorado brings in 2012 commitment Josh Scott, and adds maybe their top two wing targets in the class with Alex Caruso and Christian Sanders. If the Buffalos can secure another commitment this weekend, that would be enormous, and give them one of the better classes in the West. North Carolina has three elite 2013 prospects in Allerick Freeman, Anthony Barber, and Troy Williams. All three are five-star prospects who are going to be in the cross-hairs of every major program in the country.

When it comes to individual visitors, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma State come to the forefront this weekend.

The Buckeyes are hosting Tony Parker who has been right at the top of their recruiting board for a long time. The five-star center has been to OSU unofficially in the past, but will be making this trip in an official capacity. While a decision is not anticipated from Parker, this is a player Ohio State is in a good position with and will try to make a favorable impression on.

Vanderbilt has their top guy coming as well. Hailing from nearby Clarksville (TN), Alex Poythress has been the No. 1 target for the Commodores for a long time. Poythress is the kind of athlete and player that Vanderbilt has been landing in recent years, and now they are trying to make a national statement by landing Poythress, and this will be their big swing.

Finally there is the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. They are hosting five-star guard Marcus Smart. Head Coach Travis Ford landed a signature recruit out of Dallas in 2011 in the form of LeBryan Nash, and he is attempting to do it again from the same city with Smart. Smart is one of the biggest winners in the entire 2012 class, and is someone who brings everything a coach could want in a player. On top of that, Smart's close friend and teammate Phil Forte will also be accompanying him to Stillwater.

Overall it is a big visit weekend, and Scout.com will be sure to have coverage from coast-to-coast updating the latest on all the top recruitments.
