Winslow picks up offers

After a big July, recruiting has picked up for Justise Winslow, Scout.com's 16th ranked 2014 prospect. Winslow updates Scout.com on his recruitment.

It's been an eventful post-July for 6-foot-6, 190-pound Houston St. John's small forward Justise Winslow.

Since the end of the Evaluation Period, Scout.com's 16th rated 2014 prospect has picked up several offers.

"The list so far is Texas, Baylor, Arizona, Arizona State, Rice, Houston and Florida," Winslow said of his new offers.

As of now, Winslow isn't ready to name any leaders amongst those schools.

"There are schools I like better but they're all about the same right now," he said.

Winslow has a couple of schools he's worked on setting up visits to.

"I'm trying to visit Arizona for the Red/Blue game on Oct. 22," Winslow said. "I like their style of play, the coaches and the atmosphere of Arizona.

"I was supposed to go to Texas during Labor Day weekend but I couldn't make it. They're the state school - everyone wants to go there - and it's close to home."

Just entering his sophomore season, Winslow is in no rush to make a decision.

"I probably won't decide anything until my senior year," he said. "I'll be looking for weather, style of play and the coaches."
