Al, meanwhile, will stay in the States and finish out his high school career and then it's off to college where the 6-8 forward is turning into a hot commodity.
While he says that he's really not close to narrowing a list, let alone making a decision, he did fill us in on who is recruiting him the hardest. To that question Horford responded with Xavier, Ohio State, Michigan, Rutgers and Florida State. He's already been on unofficials to Ohio State, Michigan and Xavier.
"I have to take my SAT this summer so I'll probably be making my visits next fall," Horford said. "Me and my coaches were going to sit down and talk about narrowing it. But, we're going to wait until the end of the summer and see what schools I like the most and then we'll narrow it to five."
We saw Horford at the adidas Texas Classic where he laced them up with the Michigan Mustangs. At that time, Horford was nursing an injury but we were still quite impressed with his rebounding prowess. Hurt or healthy, he goes and gets it.
Horford will be in North Carolina for the Memorial Day weekend Tournament of Champions.
