Moto hits visit trail

Arnaud Moto, a 6-foot-6 wing, visited an ACC school a few weeks ago and is now set to visit a SEC and PAC-12 school in the next two weeks.

The recruiting process is in full swing for Arnaud Moto.

Moto, a top 100 prospect, has a handful of high major programs tracking his every move. Among the schools involved are Virginia Tech, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Miami and Florida.

A few weeks ago Moto took his first official visit to Wake Forest. Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal coach Jim Fitzpatrick said the visit went well.

"It went well," Fitzpatrick said. "He enjoyed his time at Wake Forest, and he felt that the coaching staff did a great job during the visit."

This coming weekend Moto will head to Nashville for an official visit at Vanderbilt and then is expected to visit UCLA the following weekend.

"We are still working on dates for VA Tech and Florida in October," Fitzpatrick told

Moto has already conducted in-home visits with Virginia Tech, UCLA and Vanderbilt, but it sounds like the visits are going to be one of the most important factors in his recruitment.

"He is such a smart and inquisitive kid that he really wants to look at all parts of the school, basketball program and coaching staff," Fitzpatrick said.

Moto is rated as a four-star prospect and is No. 58 overall in the 2012 class.
