Harrell to Penn

Pennsylvania is on the board again with a commitment from one of the top 2012 wings in the Los Angeles area.

Pennsylvania has picked up a commitment from 6-foot-5, 190-pound 2012 Los Angeles Loyola small forward Julian Harrell.

Harrell had a strong summer for AAU program California Supreme. The 2012 prospect can play both wing positions, defends, rebounds and was a big reason for Cal Supreme's success this summer.

"It was tough to choose the Ivy League over the Pac-12, ACC, A-10, MWC and WCC but I picked what me and my family thought would be the best overall choice for my future," Harrell told Scout.com.

"I have a really good relationship with the coaching staff, I loved Philadelphia, and I really like the current players on the team when I took my visit. I feel that is the best fit overall."

Harrell joins Darian Nelson-Henry, Tony Hicks and Jamal Lewis in Penn's 2012 recruiting class.
