Wilson Might Wait to Weigh Options

The athletic shooting guard from Los Angeles, Donald Wilson, is getting some good recruiting attention, but says he's still wide open and might wait to make a decision...

Donald Wilson, 6-3 SG, Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey, the #16-ranked shooting guard on the west coast, said that he's getting some solid recruiting attention.

UTEP, Pepperdine, USC, Cal and Utah are showing interest, but Wilson said, as of yet, none have offered a scholarship and he's wide open. "Plenty of schools say they're going to offer, they just want to wait until after July," he said. "And that's fine. I want to take my time to make my decision anyway."

Wilson said that he might even wait until spring to weigh all the options. "I want to take all my official trips. I'm not ruling out committing by fall. If I can get them all done by then and know where I want to go, I'd commit in fall. But I think I'll want to wait."

Wilson also said that he would actually like to go away to school. "It would be fun to go away," he said. "It would be a new experience."
