Missouri scores big man

Ryan Rosburg made his decision on Wednesday. He's headed to the Big 12.

Missouri needed to add some size to their front line.

With their 2012 recruiting class, the Tigers are doing just that. On Wednesday they added a fourth post prospect to their class by picking up Ryan Rosburg.

The Chesterfield (Mo.) Marquette standout confirmed the news to Scout.com.

"Going into it my dream was to play at Mizzou," Rosburg said. "I had to figure a few things out and if I would like the staff, but everything came into place. I loved the staff and everything just felt like home."

Rosburg said he picked Missouri over strong interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Missouri State and Tennessee.

"Their top two frontline guys are graduating and I think they have a need right away," Rosburgh said. "I saw a chance to come in right away and play.

Rosburg, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound big man, averaged 17.5 points per game as a junior in high school. He was also a 2nd team All-State selection.

Rosburg joins a class that includes big men Aaron Scales, Tony Criswell and Quantel Denson, as well as wings Shawn Smith and Negus Webster-Chan.
