6:05: One recruitment to play close attention to over the next week is Andrew White's. He has a list that includes Texas, Louisville, Kansas, Virginia Tech, Richmond and Georgetown. The Hoyas are making a late push and don't count out Richmond. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up committing and signing on the last day of the period. (ED)

6:01: We've discussed that Alex Poythress and Robert Carter will sign on Thursday. But who are the others we expect to sign before the period ends on November 16th? Gary Harris, Amile Jefferson and Robert Upshaw. (ED)

5:56: It didn't take Mark Gottfried long to reel in high level talent. N.C. State leads the way in the ACC class rankings. UNC isn't too far behind. Conference Breakdown: No. 1 ACC

5:50: Sean Miller has not only put together the top 2012 class in the Pac-12, but also the #1 class in the entire country, with three five-star prospects to go along with one four-star. Conference Breakdown: No. 2 Pac-12 (JG)

5:49: Ed Cooley and the Providence Friars are the big story in the Big East. Syracuse, Pittsburgh and a few others put together strong groups as well. Conference Breakdown: No. 3 Big East. (BS)

5:38: Towson has received LOI's from all four commitments: Guards Frank Mason and Jerome Hairston as well as posts Barrington Alston and T.J. Parker. Nice class for new head coach Pat Skerry. (JG)

5:24: Alex Poythress is one of the big names that will sign in the early period. He's expected to make his commitment official Thursday afternoon. He's down to Kentucky, Memphis, Vanderbilt and Florida. (ED)

5:02: California head coach Mike Montgomery on his two-man class: "The first time we saw Tyrone Wallace, we felt like he was exactly what we needed. He was our number one priority since last spring. We're really excited to have him come onboard. He's the perfect combo guard with his ability to play the one and run a club, while big enough to defend, rebound and score the ball. With Kaileb Rodriguez we fell in love with his upside. He's long, willing, and wants to be a player. With experience and strength, we think he's going to have a real nice future." (JG)

5:00: Colorado head coach Tad Boyle on his five-man class: "We're going to play Xavier Johnson on the perimeter, facing the basket, and I think he'll be a matchup problem for a lot of teams... Josh Scott has a chance to be one of the best big men to ever play at Colorado. His ability to finish with either hand around the basket makes him a very hard guy to deal with down low... Wesley Gordon is a guy that I think has a combination of skill, size and athleticism that will help him be very successful here… We try to make recruiting pretty simple. If a guy can pass, dribble and shoot, we should be recruiting him and that's what kept bringing us back to Xavier Talton; he can do all three of those things very well... I think the thing we're most excited about with Chris Jenkins is his mentality and his competitiveness; he plays with a chip on his shoulder." (JG)

4:50: Despite speculation the past few days, Tony Parker will indeed not sign during the early period, per a source. On the other hand, Parker's teammate at Miller Grove, Brandon Morris has signed with Georgia. (ED)

4:16 Georgetown has the LOI of D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera in hand. (BS)

4:00: Cal State-Northridge signed two in Donovan Johnson and Brandon Perry. Johnson is a steal at that level and Perry will bring some size to the paint for Northridge. (JG)

3:55: Richard Longrus is now confirmed for Wazzu as well. He'll be a defensive, athletic presence for the Cougars. (JG)

3:50: Confirmed LOI's for Washington State are Demarquise Johnson, Richard Peters and Brett Boese. 'Q' Johnson is going to bring some serious athleticism and shooting to Pullman. Solid group for the Cougars. (JG)

2:18: Arizona State head coach Herb Sendek breaks down his new class: "Kenny (Martin) has just continued to improve; he plays with a great motor and we love his competitiveness and versatility. Calaen Robinson is a extremely quick guard who is able to keep defenders off balance with his drive as well as his very quick pull up release." (JG)

2:10: Memphis head coach Josh Pastner on his new signee Damien Wilson: "Damien is an explosive athlete that excels in the uptempo style that we play here at Memphis. He has the potential to be a high level defender and rebounder. He is a lefty that can get to the paint, plays above the rim, and is tremendous in the open floor." (JG)
