Rowley Headed To The Big Ten

Michigan State didn't waste much time in securing one of the standouts from the Nike All-American Camp. Power forward Delco Rowley of Indianapolis (IN) Arlington committed to Michigan State last weekend.

Rowley Is A Spartan

Even before the coaches arrived in Indianapolis, PF Delco Rowley was playing hard. During the scrimmages, Rowley was kicking tail. Once the games actually began, he never once let up. The end result will catapult him into the national Top 100 and secured himself a scholarship to Michigan State.

"I decided Saturday. Being able to play with their players and the looking at the relationship they had at Michigan State, it seemed like it would be a fun time for me," Rowley said. "I broke everything down and Michigan State had a good advantage."

Last year, Rowley averaged 13 points and 9 rebounds. He travels with the Indy Warriors on the AAU circuit.

‘[Michigan State] were really shocked because they thought I was leaning more towards Ohio State than anybody. They were very happy I committed." Rowley also considered Iowa, another Big Ten program.
