2015 Intro: Brodricks Jones

There aren't many prospects in the west with the upside of 2015 St. Bernard power forward Brodricks Jones. Here's an intro into his game and recruitment.

One of the more intriguing prospects out west regardless of class is 6-foot-9, 180-pound 2015 Playa Del Rey (Calif.) St. Bernard power forward Brodricks Jones.

Nicknamed Buddah, Jones is already very mobile and athletic for his size and is still expected to grow a couple more inches.

Jones is very long, has good hands, a nice face-up game, is good on the offensive glass and while strength is currently an issue, when he hits his final height and gets stronger, he should be a very good player.

Considered an elite prospect for his class, Jones isn't thrilled with how he's playing right now.

"Right now I'm just rebounding and looking for teammates," Jones said. "I do play good defense.

"I need to work on not getting frustrated. I'm not happy with how I'm playing. I'm thinking too much and I just need to play hard."

It didn't take long for schools to begin sending scholarship offers, as Arizona and Colorado were the first to officially jump in Jones' recruitment.

"I was really excited about those offers," he said, adding he doesn't yet know much about either school.

Right now Jones is especially enjoying watching an SEC school on TV.

"The college I really like right now is Kentucky," Jones said. "They're kind of like St. Bernard, they play fast."
