2014 Intro: Daniel Hamilton

The younger brother of Jordan and Isaac, 2014 small forward Daniel Hamilton is starting to receive college attention himself.

Much is known about Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco shooting guard Issac Hamilton, Scout.com's 35th ranked prospect in 2013.

However, his younger brother is starting to make a name for himself as well.

After growing four to five inches in the past year, 2014 St. John Bosco small forward Daniel Hamilton is now 6-foot-7 and 175 pounds.

While he's grown in height, his game has also improved.

"Since this summer I got faster, I got stronger, my ball handling got better and I got more athletic working out with Schea Cotton," Hamilton said. "I need to work on my ball handling and shot selection because sometimes I take a lot of shots."

Hamilton says that he already holds offers from Baylor, UTEP, USC and San Diego State, with interest coming from St. John's and most of the Pac-12 as well.

So far, he said San Diego State and Baylor stand out to him. He recently visited the Aztecs' campus.

"I liked it," Hamilton said of SDSU. "I like the atmosphere and fan base. They treated me like I was at my home. I like the coaching staff; Tony Bland is a good recruiter. I like the coaches at Baylor too; (Scott Drew) is a good coach."

The younger Hamilton says that he hopes to play at the same college as his older brother.

"That's definitely the goal," he said. "We're going to make that work."
