However, his younger brother is starting to make a name for himself as well.
After growing four to five inches in the past year, 2014 St. John Bosco small forward Daniel Hamilton is now 6-foot-7 and 175 pounds.
While he's grown in height, his game has also improved.
"Since this summer I got faster, I got stronger, my ball handling got better and I got more athletic working out with Schea Cotton," Hamilton said. "I need to work on my ball handling and shot selection because sometimes I take a lot of shots."
So far, he said San Diego State and Baylor stand out to him. He recently visited the Aztecs' campus.
"I liked it," Hamilton said of SDSU. "I like the atmosphere and fan base. They treated me like I was at my home. I like the coaching staff; Tony Bland is a good recruiter. I like the coaches at Baylor too; (Scott Drew) is a good coach."
The younger Hamilton says that he hopes to play at the same college as his older brother.
"That's definitely the goal," he said. "We're going to make that work."
