Junior SG Alex Harris
Alex Harris, 6-3 JR SG Alameda (Calif.) St. Joseph's, is a bit of a sleeper, but does have some West Coast programs on him. Harris told us that he's hearing from Stanford, Oregon St., St. Mary's, Pacific, San Jose St. and Washington. He said his three favorites would be Stanford, Oregon St. and Washington. We asked if any coaches had visited him during the recent contact and Harris said, "Pacific and St. Mary's both came on the last day." Harris said he would prefer to play right away in college, but he'd be willing to redshirt if he were to go to a high major school. Harris has taken unofficial visits to San Jose St. and to St. Mary's. "I really like San Jose St.," said Harris. "The coach has been recruiting me for a while and I feel pretty close to him. With St. Mary's, I like that it's close, the campus is great and I like the coaching." Pacific and San Jose St. have both asked Harris to come for official visits. Harris is a solid student, having scored 1030 on his SAT -- he plans on taking it again -- and he said his GPA is 3.4
