"It's going good," Jefferson said about his recruitment on Sunday. "It's getting close."
"I'm hoping it's soon," he added. "It's day-to-day. We're going to sit down and give each coach one more call."
"There's a lot of pressure," the five-star prospect said. "You get the pressure from fans. There's no more courting, people want you to make a decision."
Duke's interest has picked up recently. Mike Krzyzewski saw him play recently and their staff is now making him a priority.
"Duke was always a school I had interest in," he said. "I've been talking to Coach K. You go there, you know you have a chance to compete for national championships and play with some of the best players in the country."
Jefferson has taken official visits to the other schools involved, does that work against Duke?
"I haven't been there since my sophomore year," he added. "I don't think so, I've seen a lot and I talk to coach K and coach Collins a lot."
Jefferson is regarded as the No. 20 prospect in the 2012 recruiting class.
