Singletary Ends Process

Sean Singletary didn't sound like a player on the verge of a commitment when we talked to him this week. However, it now appears as though he's found a home in the ACC.

Sean Singletary is one of the top point guards in the Class of 2004. Virginia had been recruiting him for a long time. On Friday, according to multiple sources, Singletary committed to the Cavaliers.

The standout with the Playaz Basketball had previously stated that he wanted to visit Kansas and Virginia unofficially this summer. It doesn't look like that'll need to happen.

Singletary is the kind of recruit the Cavaliers have been searching. He'll come in and run Pete Gillen's offense, he's a big-time student and has long carried with him the reputation of being a character guy and team leader.

On Friday, Singletary was to visit with doctors about his shoulder injury. The injury kept him out of action last weekend and he's working on getting back to 100% for the summer stretch.
