Terwilliger Picks Buckeyes

Matt Terwilliger ended his recruitment on Friday. The Ohio resident will play in the Big Ten in the fall of 2004.

The suspense is over and the Ohio State Buckeyes have landed one of their choice targets of the year.

On Friday, Terwilliger picked the Buckeyes over Cincinnati. Notre Dame was involved late in the process.

This is a huge pickup for the Buckeyes. "He's huge for them because they were after a big guy and he was their main recruit," John Stovall of PrepSpotlight said. "It helps Jim O'Brien and the new staff try to establish themselves in Ohio."

Prepspotlight ranked Terwilliger No. 3 in Ohio behind Josh Duncan and Jamar Butler.
