"I have an unofficial visit planned with Marquette," Amoroso said. "I'm flying out to Milwaukee this Saturday and coming back on Monday. I just want to get a better feel for the program."
Marquette has already offered a scholarship. "My first offer was from Indiana State then it was Northern Iowa, New Mexico, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marquette and Minnesota and then I just got an offer from Creighton about three days ago."
Still, Amoroso doesn't have any school on speed dial as far as a commitment call goes. "Since the past couple of months, I've been pretty wide open. But now, it's been hectic and a bunch of schools have come on. In the next few days I'll try to sit down and cut five to seven schools off my list."
Wisconsin, Illinois, UNLV and Purdue are currently on his list, too. "Those are the other four schools but at this time they haven't offered me. What I'm looking to do is to sign in November so it's basically like just whatever happens until then I'm open for it. I want to enjoy the experience."
Last season, Amoroso averaged 24 points and 11 boards.
