Decision date set for Parker

The long recruitment of Tony Parker is set to come to an end. The five-star center now knows when he will announce.

The long recruitment of Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove center Tony Parker is now set to come to an end. Parker, who started receiving offers in the eighth grade, will make his final decision next week at his high school.

"Per his mother Tony will be announcing on Monday (April 23)," said Miller Grove head coach Sharman White.

Parker who has played in the McDonald's All-American Game, Nike Hoops Summit, and Jordan Brand Classic, has been the subject of one of the most intense recruiting battles in the 2012 class.

White says that Parker is still deciding between Duke, Georgia, Kansas, Memphis, Ohio State, and UCLA. His most recent official visit was to Kansas for their game against Missouri during the season, but he has seen all of the campuses involved within the last year.

Lately most of the buzz with Parker has surrounded UCLA, Duke, and Georgia but the family has made no public hints as to where he is leaning.
