Washington picks Penn State

The Penn State basketball team landed a solid 2014 early commitment when Isaiah Washington decided on the school.

Head Coach Patrick Chambers has made it a focus of his to really attack the recruiting trail. Already he has built a solid 2013 class, and now he is off to work in 2014.

On Sunday afternoon Chambers secured the commitment of 2014 shooting guard Isaiah Washington out of Williamsport (Penn) High School. The commitment was confirmed by Washington's AAU coach for NJABC Matt Pauls.

Washington is a 6-foot-3 guard with solid athleticism and some nice skill. He is able to make the mid-range jumper and loves to attack the rim off the dribble.

At the Hoop Group Future All-American Camp Washington was one of the players who stood out despite being under the radar.
