Garrison Looking At Five

If you didn't see Travis Garrison at NBA Camp or in New Jersey at ABCD Camp, you won't see him at all. The power forward from DeMatha Catholic has completed his summer tour of duty and will spend the remained of the month in school.

Looking At Five

While many of the nation's top high school prospects will spend the remaining part of July and early August in places like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland and Orlando, Travis Garrison will be in Maryland completing summer school classes. The 6-9 power forward from Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha Catholic played at the Boo Williams, NBA Camp and adidas ABCD and now he's got to concentrate on school.

As far his future is concerned, Garrison has narrowly his school focus to five schools: Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Charlotte and Georgia Tech. "I'm really still weighing my options," Garrison said.

He's been to Maryland a lot because it's close, but he has yet to see the other campuses on his list. "I know that I am going to take a couple of unofficials [in August]," Garrison said. He'll try and make trips to Charlotte, Michigan and Maryland again.

"If I'm going to go far away from home it has to be because of the coach, the environment and the style of play." He's looking for an up and down system that suits his tastes.
