Jamal Hall, 6-1 SG Pasadena (Calif.) Muir, is a strong, athletic guard who has drawn the interest of a number of schools.

We talked with Jamal at the recent All-West Camp and he told us he's received calls from Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, Oregon, Cal State Fullerton, Nevada, UC Irvine, St. Mary's, Oregon State, UTEP and Princeton.

When asked if he had a geographical preference, Jamal said, "No, I'm just looking for a scholarship -- it doesn't really matter if it's close to home."

Jamal said academics would be a primary concern when he makes his decision.

We asked about early playing time and Jamal said, "I'd like to play early, but it's not a big issue."

Jamal said that he has a 3.0 GPA and hasn't received his SAT score.
