Vanderbilt added their third pledge in the 2012 class when a Pennsylvania native called them with good news.
Commodores have been looking to add a guard late in the process and they were able to do that on Thursday in the form of Sheldon Jeter
The Beaver Falls (PA) High School product picked Vanderbilt according to his father.
"Yes, Sheldon has committed to Vanderbilt," said Mr. Jeter.
Jeter ran with the King James Shooting Stars on the AAU circuit, and showed off a good blend of athleticism and the ability to score both slashing to the rim and from the mid-range.
Along with Vanderbilt, Jeter also had offers from Penn State, Seton Hall, Kansas State, and Wisconsin, but in the end decided on the Commodores.
Jeter becomes the third commitment for Vanderbilt joining A.J. Astroth and Kevin Bright.
