"Corban Collins just committed to LSU," Myers said.

Collins, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound guard, committed to LSU over strong interest from UCF, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati.

"I think Corban sees a chance to play there and contribute right away," Myers added. "He felt comfortable with their staff and players on his vist."

Myers said Collins' work ethic should help him once he gets to Baton Rouge.

"Corban is a tireless worker in the weight room and on the court. I think he is going to be a very good player for them," Myers said.

Collins was originally a 2013 recruit, but opted to reclassify a few weeks ago.
