Sandifer Says Pac-12 School Leads

Chris Sandifer, one of the top wings in the west for 2014, says one program is standing out for him at the moment....

Chris Sandifer, 6-4 JR SG Gardena (Calif.) Serra, is one of the more talented and promising wings in a loaded West Coast class of 2014. Sandifer missed most of last season after transferring from Price, but he's one of the better shooters in the class and he's also a very good athlete.

I spoke with Sandifer recently and asked him which schools are recruiting him the hardest.

"USC, Colorado, Arizona and Utah are probably the ones recruiting me the hardest right now," said Sandifer. "I was hearing from UCLA earlier, but haven't heard much from them lately."

I asked Sandifer if he has a leader.

"I'd say probably Colorado," said Sandifer. "I know some people up there. I played with Askia (Booker) at Price."

Sandifer will be running with a new club team this month.

"I'm going to play with Dream Vision," said Sandifer.

Sandifer said he has a 2.8 GPA.
