Jenkins cuts list to five

As has been the theme over the past week, yet another top 100 prospect has narrowed his list of schools. This time it's 6-foot-6 forward Kris Jenkins narrowing things.

Kris Jenkins is down to five schools.

Jenkins, who entertained college interest from a host of high major schools, cut his list to Villanova, Xavier, Miami, Rutgers and Clemson Wednesday evening.

Jenkins' guardian Nate Britt Sr. confirmed the news to

"Form here the plan is to take somes visits and schedule the official visits and move forward from there," Britt Sr. told

"We are really going to see if there's any questions that he needs answered about the schools and their coaching staffs and try to improve the relationships with the coaching staffs," he added.

At this point, Jenkins hasn't set up any official visits.

Jenkins, a four-star prospect, is currently regarded as the No. 74 overall prospect in the 2013 recruiting class.
