2013 West Coast Rankings: Shooting Guards

Zach LaVine, Darin Johnson and Nick Emery are among the top shooting guards in the west for 2013...

The 2013 West Coast class of shooting guards is a solid group, with multiple high major prospects and good depth throughout the region. LaVine gets the top spot due to his combination of athleticism, terrific stroke and very good ball skills. He's got a chance to play the one or the two at the next level and he has a very high upside. Johnson has good size and strength, a solid jump shot, as well as above average athleticism. He too has just started to scratch the surface of his potential. Emery is a terrific competitor and very good shooter with an advanced feel for the game. Pitts is a shot-maker that can score from multiple spots on the floor and he also has an excellent feel for the game. Robinson may end up playing football, but if he chooses basketball he's an explosive athlete and good spot-up shooter with three-point range.
