2015 wing Gill Caesar has bright future

Rob Fulford has another talented Canadian on his roster. Montaque Gill Caeasar, a top 25 prospect in the 2015 class, is the newest Huntington Prep addition.

Huntington (W.V.) Prep is developing a reputation for reeling in talented Canadian prospects.

Both Xavier Rathan-Mayes and Andrew Wiggins stared for Rob Fulford's program last year and now they've added another talented Canadian to the mix in 6-foot-5 wing Montaque Gill Caesar.

"He's more of a slasher right now," Huntington Prep coach Rob Fulford told Scout.com.

"The one thing that stands out to all of us is that he and Wiggins are going at it everyday in open gym," he said. "He doesn't back down at all. If Andrew scores, he goes right back at him. It's obviously good for Andrew because Andrew can't coast."

Fulford said Gill Caeasar has a unique ability to score.

"He's an average athlete, he just has a high IQ," he said. "He's athletic, but it's not anything that stands out. He has a knack of getting to the basket and he has that Canadian spin move."

According to Fulford it's extremely early in Gill Caesar's recruitment.

"He's still kind of unknown," Fulford said.

Mike George, Gill Caesar's travel team coach, said Iowa State, Virginia, Baylor, Missouri, Boise State, New Mexico State, Syracuse and Villanova have all contacted him about the four-star recruit. Illinois also called Fulford about Gill Caesar earlier in the week.
