Williams picks the Buckeyes

The Ohio State Buckeyes rallied late in the process to pull in their second commitment in the 2013 class.

Ohio State got on the board in the 2013 class a long time ago with four-star in-state talent Marc Loving. Now, nearly two years later, the second pledge has come in for the Buckeyes and it is Kameron Williams.

There is no substitute for being to put the ball in the basket, and very few prospects can do that at a higher level than the 6-foot-1 Williams. After starring at Baltimore (Md.) Mt. St. Joseph's, Williams had an excellent summer on the EYBL circuit with Nike Baltimore Elite.

Now after a major recruiting battle with the Miami Hurricanes, Williams has decided to head to the Big Ten and be an Ohio State Buckeye. Williams confirmed the news with Scout.com.

For a while it seemed that the Hurricanes were going to be very tough to beat, but an in-home visit and subsequent official visit from Williams to Ohio State turned the tide.

Williams is the No. 88 ranked prospect in the country and a four-star recruit. He will be expected to pair with Loving to give the Buckeyes more scoring punch on the perimeter.
