Perry's first trip was to Cincinnati. The big man already has built a solid relationship with Bearcat commitment Kevin Johnson, and enjoyed his time in the Queen City.
"I went to Cincinnati first and that went really well," said Perry. "I have a good relationship with the players. I liked the way the players did everything together and handled themselves. It was just a good time."
Next up for Perry was the hour trip north from his home to Orlando where he saw UCF. It wasn't his first trip to the school, but this one did open his eyes.
"Next I went to UCF," said Perry. "That was a great trip. I got to meet new people and see some of the players I didn't know from my first time there. It was a better trip than I expected."
Perry's third official visit was to Tulsa. The appeal has always been the work Head Coach Danny Manning has put in with post players, and Perry came away liking what he saw.
"I got to go to Coach Manning's house and that was beautiful," said Perry. "I like Coach Manning a lot and the players were down to earth and I liked it a lot."
The final trip will take place this weekend to USF, and Perry is looking forward to the short trip from his Bartow home to Tampa.
"I am just ready to play pickup and get out there and compete against them," said Perry. "I want to get to know them better and just see what the program is all about."
The three-star center says he won't be waiting around long after the visit to make a decision. A choice should be made in the next week.
"I am planning to make a decision a couple days after this visit, maybe Wednesday or Thursday," said Perry.
