Alabama, Washington and West Virginia have big visitor weekends planned, plus James Young will head to Kentucky for an unofficial visit.

Johnson & others to see Alabama

Jajuan Johnson doesn't appear far off from a decision.

The 6-foot-5, 180-poung wing out of Memphis (Tenn.) Southwind is looking at a handful of schools including Alabama, Miami and Texas.

Johnson officially visited Miami the weekend of September 15th. This weekend Johnson's headed to Alabama, where they'll also host a number of underclassmen recruits plus top 100 wing Tim Quarterman.

Johnson, Scout.com's No. 8 shooting guard and No. 32 overall prospect, may also take a visit to Texas.

Key weekend for Washington

Washington is hoping to strike big this weekend.

The Huskies will host top 100 commit Nigel Williams-Goss, as well as top five prospect Aaron Gordon and top 100 wing Darin Johnson. All three will be in town on official visits.

Washington has been talked about as the leader for Gordon for some time and this is their chance to show him their digs. Gordon is also strongly considering Arizona, Kentucky, Oregon and Kansas.

Gordon is expected to visit Kentucky in October.

To go with Washington, Johnson is currently listing Oregon, San Diego State and Texas A&M. He's already taken official visits to San Diego State and Oregon.

WVU has six headed to campus

Bob Huggins and his staff will host one official visitor and a number of unofficial visitors this weekend.

Devin Williams, a 6-foot-8 power forward originally from Ohio, is scheduled for an official visit to West Virginia this weekend. Williams is scheduled to see UCLA the weekend of October 6th and Memphis the weekend of October 19th. Ohio State and North Carolina State are also on his list.

The Mountaineers will also have 2014 combo forward Isaac Copeland on campus for an unofficial visit. LeRoy Butts, Anthony Cowans, Seth Thomas and Matt Moyer are expected to stop by campus for unofficial visits as well.

Young to see Kentucky

James Young will head to Kentucky this weekend, according to his Godfather – Sean Mahone.

Mahone informed Scout.com late Thursday night that he and Young were "definitely coming." The trip is scheduled as an unofficial visit.

Kentucky, along with, Arizona, Michigan State, Syracuse and Kansas are on Young's current list of schools. Mahone told Scout.com's Jeff Drummond on Thursday that they were tentatively planning to visit each school.

Young is a five-star recruit and ranked No. 9 overall in the 2013 class.

Other key visits

*Tre'Shaun Lexing will take an official visit to Colorado this coming weekend. Lexing took an officially to Arizona State last weekend.

*DePaul will host La Lumiere big man Torren Jones for an official visit this weekend.

*Matt Jones, a four-star prospect out of DeSoto (Tex.), will take his official visit to Duke this weekend. Jones has been committed to the Blue Devils since last November.

*Hunter Myers, a three-star power forward out of Nevada, is taking an official visit to Harvard this weekend. Sam Singer is also at Harvard for an official visit.

*After hosting Rathan-Mayes last weekend, Illinois will host 6-foot-8 power forward Austin Colbert for an official visit this weekend.

*Iowa State will have at least five prospects on campus on Saturday. Matt Thomas is scheduled to take his official visit. Dustin Hogue will be in town for an official as well. Clayton Custer, Sean O'Mara and Nick Noskowiak will be on unofficial visits.

*Miami will have Josh Hart, a four-star wing out of Washington (D.C.) Sidewell Friends, in town for an official visit.

*SMU will host Tyler Roberson this weekend. He's also considering a host of other programs including Syracuse and Kansas.

*South Florida will have 6-foot-8 big man Chris Perry in town for an official visit. Drekal Clayton will be on campus as well.

*TCU will have Ben Emelogu on campus for an official trip.

*Texas A&M will host Tony Trocha this coming weekend. There have been rumblings that Trocha could possibly get eligible for the second semester of college this year. Karviar Shepherd is also expected to be at Texas A&M this weekend.

*Frank Mason, a quick guard out of Massanutten, will officially visit Kansas.

*Stanford is hosting Ohio native Nigel Hayes for an official visit this weekend.

*Penn has trio of recruits in town. Matt Howard, Dylan Jones and Mike Williams are all on their campus for visits.
