Wingfield will stay in state

Talented wing D.J. Wingfield will make his home at Ohio University.

Head Coach Jim Christian has a very talented team, and he is working hard on the recruiting trail to keep the Ohio Bobcats loaded. The latest pledge will go a long way to doing that.

D.J. Wingfield, an athletic and naturally gifted wing from Cincinnati (Ohio) Lockland picked the Bobcats according to multiple sources.

Buzz had been building in the Queen City around Wingfield after some quality open gym performances, and that led to them putting the pressure on and securing a commitment from him.

Ohio will use Wingfield off the ball and allow him to create where he can be a very good passer as well as finish around the rim.

This is the third commitment for the Bobcats. He joins power forward Antonio Campbell and junior college center Anthony Allen.
