Hart down to three sets decision date

Only three schools remain for four-star prospect Josh Hart.

The recruitment of four-star small forward Josh Hart continues to wind down, and now the Washington D.C. native is down to three schools, one from the Big Ten and two from the Big East.

Hart is down to Villanova, Rutgers, and Penn State. The three schools have all received official visits from the 6-foot-5 Hart.

The multi talented Hart broke down his three finalists and why they made the cut.

Penn State: I have a good relationship with the coaches. I have known them for about two years and the relationship I have with them is the deciding factor. They have been on me since day one.

Rutgers: I like the coaching staff, Coach (Mike) Rice reminds me of Keith Stevens, he has that passion and that edge to him. He is going to make you uncomfortable and get the best out of you and then he will always be in your corner at the end of the day. Also their style of play fits me really well. Also their players are great on and off the court.

Villanova: They have been there for a while now. With everything with me and people thinking I was going to Georgetown a lot of people backed off, but they always stood by me and trying to build a relationship. They have recruited the right way and haven't negatively recruited at all. I think they are real high character guys, and the way they develop guards is great.

The next step for Hart is making a decision, and a date has already been set for that.

"I will probably decide this weekend and then make it public at my school on Wednesday," said Hart.

Hart is a four-star prospect and the No. 87 ranked player in the 2013 class.
