Plummer Headed To A-10

Norman Plummer made his college decision on Tuesday and in the end, he just wasn't ready to go too far from his hometown of Cincinnati.

Norman Plummer and Dayton are a good match on a number of fronts. Plummer, who committed to Dayton on Monday, certainly feels they have at least one major thing in common.

"I think they're an underrated staff and I'm an underrated player," Plummer said when reached on his cell phone. "I don't think they get enough national recognition and neither do I."

Plummer attended Brewster Academy last season and he averaged over 20 points and 9 rebounds while playing the small forward slot. He's very athletic and this is an excellent addition to the Dayton Flyer program.

"I love the coaching staff. It's 20 minutes from my house and my girlfriend will be a freshman at Wright State next year."

The final two schools for Plummer were Dayton and Iowa State. Plummer was a big fan of the Cyclones but the distance from his hometown to Ames was too much of a factor to overcome in the end.
