Hart makes his pick

The pick is in for four-star wing Josh Hart, and he will play his college basketball in the Big East.

It came down to a Big East battle, but in the end Josh Hart decided to head to the City of Brotherly Love. In a hotly contested recruitment that came down to Rutgers and Villanova, the Wildcats won out and landed Josh Hart.

At 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, Hart is a do it all wing who starred for Team Takeover over the summer and also with Washington (DC) Sidwell Friends during the school season.

A four-star prospect, Hart garned double-digit offers from schools all over the East Coast. He did it by showing his blend of toughness, rebounding, and ability to score going to the rim and in the mid-range.

Now he will make his mark in the Big East playing at Villanova.

"I chose them because they will me develop as a man and put me in the best position to succeed in life," Hart told Scout.com. "It was very difficult because of the relationships that you build with the coaches and having to tell them thanks but not thanks hurt."

This is Villanova's second commitment in the class. He joins fellow Washington DC product and four-star Kris Jenkins.
