Woodson down to two, decision coming

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. -- Dominic Woodson narrowed his list of schools to a pair and is gearing up for his college decision.

Dominic Woodson is down to a pair of schools.

Woodson, a highly rated big man out of Huntington (W.V.) Prep, told Scout.com prior to his practice on Monday that he's only considering North Carolina State and Baylor.

"I have two schools left and I'm going to make my decision pretty soon," Woodson said. "I'm down to N.C. State and Baylor. I took visits to both of them. I just got back from Baylor this weekend."

The campus and players at Baylor are among the things that stood out to Woodson the most.

"It was fun," he said. "I liked hanging out with the fellas. The campus was real nice, real nice campus. It's a private school so that's a good thing. The classes are smaller from what I heard. There's a lot of good things about it."

The week prior to his Baylor visit, Woodson went to North Carolina State.

"N.C. State is the same," Woodson said. "I really like N.C. State, just like I like Baylor. N.C. State has a great coaching staff with great players with CJ [Leslie], Rodney [Purvis] and Tyler [Lewis]. It's nice to be around them and hanging out."

Does Woodson, Scout.com's No. 39 prospect, have a favorite?

"I pretty much see both of the schools as the same right now," Woodson said.

Woodson, a four-star recruit, said he's hoping to decide in the "next week or sometime in the next week."
