Jorgenson opens it up

Travis Jorgenson thought he would play his college basketball at Missouri. On Friday he changed his mind, reopening his recruitment.

Travis Jorgenson is back on the market.

After initially committing to Missouri over a year ago, Jorgenson, a three-star lead guard out of Columbia (Mo.), opted to reopen his recruitment Friday morning.

KC Run GMC coach LJ Goolsby confirmed the news to

Jorgenson, a 5-foot-10, 155-pound guard, is finishing off his high school career at New Hampton (N.H.) Prep.

With just three of's top 30 point guard prospects still available, Jorgenson will likely received plenty of college looks. At this time he doesn't have a list of schools involved.

Missouri still has three pledges in their 2013 class. They currently hold pledges from point guard Wes Clark and four-star power forward Johnathan Williams, as well as three-star big man Torren Jones.
