Choice is in for Brown

Three star guard Jaylon Brown will remain in-state to play his college basketball.

The Evansville Aces got some great news on Monday evening when three-star point guard Jaylon Brown made his decisions. The Fishers (Ind.) High School product is one of the most athletic point guards in the country and he is now headed to the Missouri Valley Conference.

"Jay just committed to Evansville," said Brown's father Mark.

Brown who is a native of the Cincinnati area was also considering Miami (OH), St. Bonaventure, Wichita State, and St. Joseph's, but in the end Evansville did the best job of recruiting him and landed the pledge.

"I liked how I was treated as a part of the family at Evansville," said Brown of his commitment. "They have a great staff and great facilities with the new Ford Center as well."

He continued, "The academics are great there and the Missouri Valley is a top eight conference in the country. I will playing with against great players."

This is a big commitment for Evansville as Brown is one of the most athletic players in the country, and someone with major upside.
