Terrell continues to reel in offers

Jared Terrell continues to add interest. The 2014 recently updated Scout.com on his most recent offers and interest.

Jared Terrell is one of the premier 2014 shooting guards. So it comes as no surprise that high major schools are tracking his every move this year.

A standout at Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, Terrell said new offers have come in since the July evaluation period.

"It's going really well," he said of his recruitment. "I have a lot of new offers -- UConn, B.C., Providence, Rutgers, St. John's and a couple of other schools."

"Syracuse is recruiting me," he said when asked what schools were recruiting him but hadn't offered yet. "West Virginia and I think lately I've heard a little from Duke and UNC."

According to his travel team coach Ty Boswell, Terrell also has scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Miami, SMU, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Temple, Iowa State, DePaul, Seton Hall and Rhode Island.

While the interest is pouring in for Scout.com's No. 24 prospect, he's not rushing the process.

"I'm just waiting it out and I'm going to wait until the summer to make a list and then I'll probably have my decision by next school year," Terrell said.

"I'm staying open minded," he added when asked about possible favorites.

Terrell, a five-star recruit, said the only recent visits he's taken were to Maryland and Temple over the summer.
